Online form creation

Creating forms with the aforms designer is simple and user-friendly.

Form creation

The aforms designer enables the creation and administration, the aforms server the presentation of forms. AFS forms are created from basic components such as fields, blocks, validations, dynamics and logic blocks. The modular system offers many ready-made building blocks that can be individually expanded. Validations, calculations, dynamic behavior and interfaces to specialist systems can be implemented by people without programming knowledge.

The resulting AFS forms are barrier-free according to WCAG 2.1 at level AA, correspond to the style guide for online forms 3.0 and meet essential Swiss eCH e-government standards. AFS supports various country and canton-specific signature and identification technologies.

Large inventories of forms can be structured uniformly and implemented cost-effectively. The AFS building block principle leads to a maintenance-friendly and therefore future-proof form inventory.

Form operation

AFS can be operated by the licensee or by aforms2web. AFS forms are multitenant and are also suitable for cloud operation.

AFS is based on Java technology on the server side and can therefore be installed on open source or commercial platforms. AFS forms integrate into existing websites and portals. On the user  side, AFS forms can be used with common end devices and browsers without additional extensions. The form test supports operational monitoring and facilitates migration to new product versions.

Form creation with the aforms designer

The aforms designer is a web application for creating and managing forms. It offers a clear tree view of the form structure (Tree Control). This view simplifies orientation when creating forms and enables simple copying and moving of pages and blocks using drag & drop.

Individualization of the surface

Users can customize the interface of their aforms designer to make individual work easier. In addition, the central administration can also determine what the standard configuration should look like in their organization.
